Simplex Solar is a North American Board of Certified Energy Practitioners (NABCEP) Certified PV Installer™ as well as a full service integrator of photovoltaic (PV) and solar thermal systems for residential and commercial applications. We provide our clients with expertise on all aspects of solar power conversion, including site analysis, system design, financing, and installation. Our emphasis is on the financial engineering before we begin electrical engineering. Simplex Solar provides simple, high quality renewable energy solutions for any need.
Recognizing a need for renewable energy resources and being committed to environmentally friendly construction practices, Simplex Industries created Simplex Solar as a dedicated sustainable energy division.
Simplex Industries was founded in 1971 to take advantage of a market demand for high quality affordable housing. Simplex is a nationally recognized leader in modular construction. Simplex builds across all budgets and serves both residential and commercial markets. The company headquarters and two manufacturing facilities are located in Scranton, Pennsylvania.
Simplex Industries has been recognized for high quality construction, innovation and most recently for its dedication to "Green" building by industry publications, architectural reviews, and our peers.
In 2009, the company's dedication to environmental construction was demonstrated with the recognition of Certified Green Builder by the National Association of Home Builders. In 2008, the company introduced a series of Energy Star rated homes with the addition of the Greenfield, an Energy Star 5+ Rated home - the highest possible Energy Star rating.
Simplex's commitment to the environment is also found in our Planet Friendly Homes Program. Under this program, Simplex recycles all left over construction material from the the manufacturing process, while using highly energy efficient products in all Planet Friendly Homes.
